I was given a set of fregie sacks for Christmas last year ( 2007). I have used them every shop since then and love them to the extent they will be on my Stocking shopping list this year. I plan to purchase some as a gift for my daughter in the UK. Well done on a great concept. Roll on plastic bag free world.

I just saw the story about fregie sacks on pigs will fly, so I thought I'd let you know that I love fregie sacks so much I used them to wrap my Christmas presents in this year... I put the gift inside the bag, then folded it up and tied it with kitchen twine... it looked really cool and was a bonus gift as well. I love all the other extra ideas for using them, I will definitely use them for organising around the house and packing for trips! Keep up the great work.

I was so glad to find out about these from an Australian on Ravelry.com. They arrived (to the US!) quickly and I'm looking forward to using them at the grocery store and the co-op. The colors are fantastic, and I hope that this will get me to eat more fruits and veggies. The thing I'm looking forward to most? No more plastic bags coming into my house! Thank you so much!

I've been using Fregie Sacks for months now and I get so many comments on them. I originally just used them for fruit and veg, but I now also use them instead of paper bags at the organic grocery shop. I always forgot to bring containers or bags to purchase produce from their bulk bins - sultanas, chickpeas, etc - and would always feel bad about using the paper bags they supply. Now that I have Fregie Sacks, I can buy these items without any packaging. And a handful of sultanas in the bottom of a Fregie Sack keeps a toddler occupied for long enough to get all my shopping done! Nicole (December 2007)

I've been using my Fregie sacks for almost six months and love them. I often get stopped by other shoppers, asking where I got them and almost always get good feedback from the checkout operators. Apart from the great environmental factor, I find them sturdy, easy to clean and the
fruit/vege doesn't sweat. I keep a shopping bag and a couple of Fregie sacks in the boot of my car at all times. They are also a great toy for my 9 month old whilst we wonder the aisles!!

I keep a few Fregie sacks in each one of the shopping bags I take to the supermarket so that I always have them with me. They're great, I'm so happyI don't have to use those small plastic bags

Not only do I use the Fregie for all my fruit and vegetable shopping, but also as a make-up bag
and pencil and paper carrier for my granddaughter. It is a much sturdier option that plastic bags
- not to mention good for the environment. Good on you Two Girls for responding to such a need

I have always felt strongly about the overuse of plastic bags and was so glad
when the green bag option came to supermarkets, this is the next stage that had to happen.
I can't wait to see the Fregie hit the supermarket shelves, I know I for one will be using them for

The Fregie Sack is a fantastic response to the overuse of plastic bags in supermarkets.
It gives consumers far greater options when buying their fruits and vegies.
The Fregie is easy to use and is so lightweight, not to mention washable.
Sometimes I just chuck the bags straight in the fridge as an easy way of seperating
