More than just a Fregie. . .

We’ve both discovered new uses and had people tell us some, so we thought we’d share them with you. As a unique carry bag the Fregie can be used for:

THE BATH - Use for holding bath toys to drain, just loop the handle over the taps. The toys don't get slimy and the netting isn't big enough to snag the toys like some other varieties on the market.

THE BEACH - They make a great carrier for the kids toys, buckets and spades. The net allows the sand to fall through and it keeps them all together making it much easier to carry back to the car.

THE WARDROBE - Use them to tidy up and keep pairs of shoes together.

TAP AND BALLET SHOES - Use them to store the shoes, they allow the shoes to breathe and keeps them together for the next class.

TRAVEL – Great for packing use them to keep undies and socks together, separate various outfits or hold extra toiletries. Being see-through you can get what you need immediately without throwing everything around in your case. They also squash down nice and small.

KIDS’ STUFF – Great in the play room for keeping little bits and pieces together, like pens and pencils, puzzle pieces or dolls’ clothes.

WASHING – I use them as a drying bag for my nappy wipes (these are made of microfleece so dry super quickly) but it means I don’t have to hang them up individually, it’s much quicker.

THE GARDEN – Use to dry home grown veg like garlic, onions and herbs. Easy to hang from the ceiling!

PEST CONTROL - A few clients have told us how great they are for putting over your ripening fruit to keep the birds, insects or possums away.

PICNICS - Very handy for putting around salads (just put the bowl in the bag) or over fruit to keep flies and wasps away. One lady has even used it as a fly net in an emergency…if you’re not fashion conscious just pop it over your head and keep the flies out of your face, very handy for days in the country!

INDOORS - Use over your fruit bowl or compost bucket to keep those annoying little fruit flies away too.

WOOL PROCESSING FOR SPINNING & FELTING
- Great for processing raw fleeces for hand spinning and felting. Lay wool flat in single layer close the drawstring and proceed with your method of scouring. Note: Use light coloured bags and/or test colours before using in hot water to ensure no bleeding of colour!

MAKING LIQUID FERTILISER - Use as a large tea bag to make your own liquid fertilizer. Put horse/sheep/chicken dung or weeds/garden waste in the bag and suspend in water to soak for a few days. Pull out and throw away what’s left in the bag, the liquid is a great nitrogen rich fertilizer. NOTE: We don’t recommend you use the same bags for buying or storing your fruit and veg!

If you have another use for the Fregie Sack we would love to hear about it & publish it on our website. Simply send your feedback below:
